GlazingTime — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Illinois Contract Glazing, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with the GlazingTime mobile app and related services (the "Service"). GlazingTime is a private, work-related app provided to our employees and authorized personnel for time tracking and job dispatch. It is not intended for the general public, and access requires an account that we provision.

Information we collect

We collect only the information needed to operate the Service:

• Identity & account information — your mobile phone number (used to verify your device and sign you in), and your name and employee identifier, which are provided by your employer.
• Device information — device model and name, operating system version, and app version, collected when you register a device so we can secure and support your access.
• Push notification token — a token used to deliver work-related notifications to your device.
• Work information you enter — time-card entries (hours, dates, and the job numbers you record), dispatch status updates, and any photos you choose to capture or upload as part of a job update.
• Preferences — settings you choose in the app, such as notification preferences.

Information we do not collect

• Location. The app does not request or collect your device's GPS or location. Any job-site addresses or map coordinates shown in the app are provided by your employer as part of a dispatch assignment; they are not gathered from your device.
• We do not use advertising, analytics, or cross-app tracking, and we do not sell your personal information.
• Your sign-in PIN and authentication tokens are stored only on your device in secure storage; they are not transmitted to us as personal data.

Device permissions

• Camera and photo library — used only when you choose to add a photo to a job/dispatch update. We access photos you select; we do not scan your photo library.
• Notifications — used to send work-related alerts.

How we use information

• To authenticate you and secure your device access.
• To provide time tracking and payroll-related recordkeeping for your employer.
• To coordinate job dispatch and send work-related notifications.
• To operate, support, and improve the Service.

How information is shared

We do not sell your information. We share it only with:

• Your employer, whose business records (such as time cards) this Service maintains.
• Service providers that operate the Service on our behalf:
  • Twilio — to send SMS verification codes and notifications.
  • Expo — to deliver push notifications.
  • Microsoft Azure — for hosting and secure storage of app data and uploaded files.
• When required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.

Data retention

Because GlazingTime maintains employment-related records on behalf of your employer, time-card and related work data are retained for as long as needed to provide the Service and as required by applicable employment, payroll, and tax laws — which may be after your access ends. Personal device data (such as your device registration and push token) is removed when your access is revoked or your account is deleted.

Your choices and account deletion

You can sign out at any time from the app. To request deletion of your account and associated personal data, use the in-app account deletion option, or contact us at jgrissom91@gmail.com. When you delete your account, we revoke your sign-in and device access and remove personal device data; business records your employer is legally required to keep may be retained as described above.

Security

Information is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and credentials on your device are kept in secure storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Children

The Service is intended for our employees and authorized personnel and is not directed to children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above when we do.
